Dive! Dive! Dive!

Across three days over the past weekend Amanda and I went for our PADI Open Water Scuba Diving certs. We both passed successfully and can now dive to 18 metres. This was no small feat for Amanda as she’s had a phobia of the water since she was small. The course was not without it’s challenges for her but she rose to the occasion and I’ve very proud of her for passing. I’m sure at the start of the year she never would have dreamt that she’d dive to 15 metres a few months later. Big thanks to our instructor John Gransbury from Professional Dive Services for being a patient and knowledgeable trainer. I’ll highly recommend him if you live in the SE Qld or NE NSW region.

And now Ladies and Gentlemen it’s time for everyone's favourite game:
Nathan Eights’ Biggest fail/best learning experience of the weekend: When swapping to your buddy’s alternate air source, don’t put the regulator in upside down, it doesn’t work :s
